Topshop, Madewell, and Abercrombie = SALES!

If you noticed, I had left my Brand of the Month up when I went on hiatus from this blog. For the month of November, I had chosen Madewell, a new contemporary clothing line from J. Crew. On my trip to SoHo, my mom and I stopped by our favorite store to check out their casual yet business-like fashions. The store had some great sales and new fashions as well. And with no tax on clothing under $110, I found some great bargains at the store. I ended up buying a great, tie dye shirt for only $10 along with a skirt and sweatshirt, each $20. To find a store near you check out their website: www.madewell1937.com. If you want to see some more, shopbop.com sells Madewell merchandise.

For those of you who keep up with fashion, you probably know that the European store, Topshop, opened its first US store here in New York in July. I went there for the first time today and saw just exactly why it's so popular. They have EVERYTHING! I scored a great dress on sale for only $10 as well as some leggings ($24 not on sale) and cute flats on sale for only $40. The store has everything! Accessories, shoes, menswear, maternity, petite and lingerie. And the great thing, is that everyone can find something within their price range. The store has an incredible four floors and you can even have a personal shopper help you.

Lastly, Abercrombie and Fitch has constantly been sending me e-mails about their stores having all of its merchandise on sale. So I decided to check this out for myself, and the emails were true! The store by me didn't sell a lot of it's winter merchandise and had some great markdowns. I was able to purchase a graphic sweatshirt for $20 and a cardigan for $30. The best deals I saw were the ones they had on their winter coats and denim jackets. The coats went from $200 to $100 and the denim jackets were marked down from $100 to $20! Check out your local A&F for awesome deals and Hollister for 50% off of their merchandise as well. Here are the two Abercrombie pieces I purchased:
