CAN SOMEONE LEND ME A TENOR?!

On Sunday, my parents and I went to go see Broadway's revival of "Lend Me A Tenor" starring Tony Shalhoub a.k.a. MONK! And lucky for me, I got to meet him right before the show! I have a picture but it's on my phone which doesn't have internet or some sort of USB chord.

Anyway, the show was terrific and the lead was making his Broadway debut! The show will keep you laughing the whole time and the theatre is beautiful along with the set. If you get a chance to see this show, GO! It's right across the street from "Next to Normal".

TOPSHOP TIME!

I'm addicted to Topshop. I love it. I love SoHo. Someone will need to put me in Topshop rehab when I go to school this fall! I was recently at the only store in the US, right here in New York and found some great pieces that I'd like to share with you!

Petite 1/2 Sleeve Body - Tops - Petite - Topshop USA
^This bodysuit is amazing! If you go to the site, they have tons of colors and they're great to wear with high waisted jeans or a cute skirt. Or for just lounging around...^

Petite Embroided Heart Tee - Tops - Petite - Topshop USA
^This shirt is adorable! It's long enough to wear with black leggings and some flats and also some black skinny jeans^

Petite Double Button Crop Top - Tops - Petite - Topshop USA
^I didn't get this exact color shirt; mine is white with black buttons. So many people complimented me on this shirt because it's cropped and looks so different. It's great to wear with a black or (white tank with this color) underneath and some skinny jeans with either boots, Converse or flats^

And remember, if you order online or shop in the store, your student ID will get you 10% off of your purchase!

TRIPLE MOISTURE TO THE RESCUE!

If you have hair that's constantly being damaged or is naturally dry, I discovered a great line of hair care that will help your locks! I was looking for some sort of leave-in conditioner and a friend of mine had recommended the "Neutrogena orange bottle". Turns out, she was right! The brand just came out with a line of hair care products for overly-damaged hair. There are different types of conditioners and shampoos to choose from, but I personally use the two treatments from the line.

The first is a the Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask. It comes in jar and is used once a week in the shower after shampooing. Just leave it in your hair for 3-5 minutes and then rinse. It'll leave your hair feeling smooth, untangled and smelling very nice.

The other product I use is the Triple Moisture Silk Touch Leave-in Cream. This can be used on your hair (damp or dry) daily and doesn't need to be rinsed out. It not only moisturizes your hair but it also protects it from damage done by hair tools and the atmosphere. I use it every day and just like the hair mask, makes my hair feel soft and smells great.

You can get these products at any drug store and they're not very expensive at all. The mask runs around $8 and the cream is about $6.

PROM TIME!

Hey everyone! Prom season is in and I thought I'd show you all my dress! It is actually a bridesmaid's dress that I ordered at a bridal store. Turns out, some of these places have great dresses. The designer is Bari Jay and his dresses are gorgeous! You can look at his dresses at braijay.com and you can even find a local store that carries his dresses! No, I'm not doing my hair like this...

Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez?! Nelena again?!

Since January, it's been reported that Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez were dating again. She was seen at his concerts and coming out of his tour bus. On the night Nick's album released, the youngest Jonas led the Disney starlet out of a restaurant and was seen with her in his car a few days later. The pair have also been seen golfing together.

Well, Nelena may be no more because recent reports have said that the two aren't together. Apparently, they had a fight the night of the Oscars and called it quits. Reportedly, Selena hasn't seen or spoken to Nick in a week, which she told a radio station in a recent interview. Plus, she's been seen with a very cute musician named Cameron from a band.

Who knows if they're just taking a break or got back together. But since it looks like Demi and Selena are not BFFs anymore, you'd think that the two of them dating brothers would be a little awkward...

JEMI IS REAL!

Very recently, a brave Demi Lovato spilled the beans that she and her best friend Joe Jonas are indeed dating. Demi was being interviewed by Access Hollywood's Billy Bush on his radio show when she told the TV and radio personality about their growing relationship and that "he's a true gentleman." When asked about Joe's glasses, Lovato said that "they're adorable" and "suit him". The two have recently been seen around LA holding hands and even lounging together at a local park after a church service. Here's the interview:

Music Review: Nick Jonas and The Administration

Everyone knows about Nick Jonas' little side project with his own band Nick Jonas and the Administration. My friend was lucky enough to see them live back in January, but I thought I'd give a little review on their album "Who I Am."

The album is very mature and not what you'd expect from a Jonas Brother, but it might be too mature. The first song "Rose Garden" is a great, mellow-rock opening that follows with the album's title track "Who I Am", about wanting someone to love you for you. But as the album goes on, songs like, "Olive & an Arrow" and "In The End" have this 1980's love-song vibe that doesn't really appeal to me. I love the very upbeat songs "Conspiracy Theory" and "Last Time Around", but "Vesper's Goodbye" will make you cry. It's a beautiful ballad that is followed by a great closer "Stronger (Back On The Ground)." Nick also does a cover of "Tonight", but he just really slowed it down a bit and didn't change much from the upbeat song we know from his brothers.

Along with releasing, "Who I Am", Nick released a live version of his song "Stay", which he wrote while on tour. The song became very popular with some of Nick's famous friends and it was reported that Selena Gomez cried during the song at his Chicago show. You can get the live song and two videos for $3.99 on iTunes. This song, again, has a very 1980's vibe that I didn't think went with Nick Jonas.

I must say, he sounds great without Joe and Kevin and he seems to really be growing up fast. This album proves that Nick is a very talented musician and an amazing songwriter. If he's producing stuff like this at 17, what will he be doing ten years from now?

One Big Update!

Hey everyone! I know I haven't updated in a while, but you know me. I tend to go on hiatus and then come back! I wanted let you all know that I will be attending FIT next year (yes, I was accepted for merchandising) and that my school's play, "Beauty and the Beast" was a success! We have a lot of music news (especially Jonas news!), Topshop pieces you can get to look like me and some hair products you should try for yourself! BTW, I got rid of my formspring. It was annoying.
