THE CAST FOR 'NEW MOON' IS HERE!

Like many readers out there, I'm a huge fan of Stephanie Meyer's 'Twilight' saga. Right now I'm reading the third installment, "Eclipse", but what I'm really excited about is the release of the sequel, "New Moon".
Coming out on November 11, fans are wondering how filming is going or if it's even finished. The film has a new director but isn't exactly done with casting. Yahoo.com has a whole gallery on who will be joining the cast. New members will include Dakota Fanning (as Jane) and Jamie Campbell-Bower as Caius (he played Antony in Tim Burton's "Sweeney Todd").
But what I'm wondering is how well Kristen Stewart will play Bella in this movie. In the book "New Moon", her character is very dramatic when (SPOILER ALERT) Edward leaves her in the beginning of the story. I wasn't exactly impressed with her acting skills in the first movie considering she comes off as very awkward. I can't see her playing such a character that's in such physical and emotional pain, that Bella almost becomes annoyingly dramatic.
However, I am looking forward to seeing more of Taylor Lautner as Jacob. In "Twilight", he has a very minor role in the story. But in "New Moon", you'll almost want to turn to Team Jacob (I'm on Team Edward XD). Because Jacob's physical appearance is supposed to be so muscular and massive, Lautner gained almost 30 lbs. of muscle to play the role!
Taylor may be hot, but what I'm really looking forward to is seeing that sexy Rob Pattinson. When he died as Cedric in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire", my friend was practically in tears. But he really seems to fit the part of Edward very well. He's handsome, has a velvet voice and has good chemistry with Kristen Stewart.

The Harry Potter Saga

I was just reading on Yahoo! about how much each of the Harry Potter movies has taken in money-wise. But, interestingly enough, what I was reading had special pictures to view of the new film. My friends and I cannot wait for the sixth movie. Not only that, but the Harry Potter theme park in Florida is finally opening this summer as well. Here's the link: http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/by-the-numbers-harry-potter.html

Hollister Summer 2009 Look

I took three of some items that are just in at Hollister Co. The looks does somewhat seem preppy but I think it's cute. The total cost of the look is $98.00.

A Jonas Saturday

Yesterday, the Jonas Brothers were caught by the paparazzi 3 TIMES!!! In LA, Nick had lunch with his very famous ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus (the two are NOT dating!). The youngest Jonas got himself into a little fender bender when he accidentally somewhat sideswiped someone's car with his Mustang! Don't know if it was later in the day, but Nick was also seen with big brother Joe playing baseball with Michael W. Smith.
`Meanwhile, in New Jersey (while I was just over the bridge in NYC), Kevin was seen getting some Starbucks. I wish I was there when this happened! But it seems that Kevin was all alone and not with his reported girlfriend (and even rumored fiance) Danielle Deleasa. To view the pics and videos, check out nickjonline.com . Everything is right on their homepage.

9 to 5 = Hysteria

If you're a teen reading this blog and you mention the movie "9 to 5" to your parents, most likely they'll tell you it's a comedy with music by Dolly Parton. Well, guess what kids: they're right!
Now a musical at the Marquis Theatre starring Allison Janney (she's the mom in Juno. Does that ring a bell?) as well as others (the original Christmas Eve from "Avenue Q" is in it!!!) star in this extremely funny and very technical show. Mostly about women's right in 1979, Janney as well as Stephanie J. Block (she played Elphaba in "Wicked") and Megan Hilty (who even played Glinda in "Wicked") kidnap and hold their egotistical boss hostage because he's basically a sexist pig.
The show is filled with tons of jokes and will keep you laughing. Not just that, but the singing voices these women have are amazing! The set design is also fantastic. The production really showcases how technology is changing Broadway.
The show is now in previews but opens next week. To learn more, go to 9to5themusical.com and check out some videos and pictures.

TINTED WINDOWS ARE HERE!!!!

For those of you who read about this week's band, I mentioned something about a new band called Tinted Windows. Well, on April 21 their self-titled album will be coming out! I just bought their single "Kind of a Girl" on iTunes (which is very catchy and pop/rock). The band members are the gorgeous Taylor Hanson (lead vocals, from the band Hanson), James Iha on guitar (one of the original members of Smashing Pumpkins), Adam Schlesinger on bass (from Fountains of Wayne a.k.a. the band that created the song "Stacy's Mom") and Bun E. Carlos on drums from the band Cheap Trick.
The band is scheduled to perform on David Letterman on April 21 and Jimmy Fallon on April 23 as well as Bamboozle. This band sounds really good and with Taylor on board, I know they'll be amazing. For you Hanson fans out there, this doesn't mean that Hanson is no more!!! They are still a band! This is just a side project. Check this band at tintedwindowsmusic.com or just search Tinted Windows on iTunes.

JONAS IS FINALLY COMING!!!

For those of you big Jonas Brothers fans, like myself, you probably cannot wait till May 2nd at 8pm when the TV show that we've been waiting for is finally here. "JONAS" will be premiering at 8pm that night on the Disney Channel (duh!) and I hope you're all just as excited as I am!
Originally, the show's title was supposed to be an acronym and look like "J.O.N.A.S.: Junior Operatives Networking As Spies" but it seems that the show has taken a new turn. According to an email sent out by Team Jonas, the Lucas family lives on Jonas Street (hence the name for their band) in an old fire house. No mention of them being spies. Turns out they're just a band trying to be normal!
I CANNOT wait for the show! The boys have been talking about this for a long time and it's so exciting to see that it'll be here so soon! By the way, my mother sent in her photo and resume to be the mom on this show but she didn't get any feedback. No joke people (my friends who are reading this know that I'm not kidding), my mother looks like she could be Mama J's sister. She seriously could be their mother.
Also, according to the email, MEET AND GREETS ARE COMING!!! On April 17, Team Jonas Members will be able to enter for a meet and greet to the show they are going to on the World Tour (which I JUST GOT MY TICKETS FOR!). My friends and I didn't read the rules last year that you're only allowed to enter ONCE. No word yet on what Team Jonas Members will be wearing considering last year, all members wore green to show their pride.
Oh and just a little reminder also, to go along with the new show, a JONAS clothing line will be coming soon!
So readers, DON'T FORGET ABOUT APRIL 17 AND MAY 2!!!! You'll be happy if you don't ;P

Alexander McQueen at Target

Like my fashion teacher says, "He's the man!" One of fashion's top leading and edgy designers, Alexander McQueen is now available at Target! His collection is extremely affordable yet still has the quality and style you'd get from one of McQueen's high-end pieces.
My teacher cannot stop raving about his collection. In fact, I found out that around 2002, McQueen did a fashion show where the models were on the runway on top of ELEPHANTS!
Like I mentioned before, the collection is very affordable and very chic. Most of the pieces go for around $20 (BARGAIN!) and I know I'd rather pay that than over $200 for something from the Alexander.
My suggestion? Go check it out at your local Target! I mean, really who doesn't love that store? They have everything!!! Here's the shirt my teacher was wearing today. It goes for only $18.89!
