For those of you who read about this week's band, I mentioned something about a new band called Tinted Windows. Well, on April 21 their self-titled album will be coming out! I just bought their single "Kind of a Girl" on iTunes (which is very catchy and pop/rock). The band members are the gorgeous Taylor Hanson (lead vocals, from the band Hanson), James Iha on guitar (one of the original members of Smashing Pumpkins), Adam Schlesinger on bass (from Fountains of Wayne a.k.a. the band that created the song "Stacy's Mom") and Bun E. Carlos on drums from the band Cheap Trick.
The band is scheduled to perform on David Letterman on April 21 and Jimmy Fallon on April 23 as well as Bamboozle. This band sounds really good and with Taylor on board, I know they'll be amazing. For you Hanson fans out there, this doesn't mean that Hanson is no more!!! They are still a band! This is just a side project.
