HELLO 2010! It's all about the music.

Hey everyone! I'm back! I decided to wait till 2010 to update and December wasn't such a great month for me. Any who, I have lots to tell you! Two words: Jonas and Hanson.

As many of you probably know, Kevin Jonas got married to his girlfriend of about two years, Danielle Deleasa, on Dec. 19th at Oheka Castle right here on Long Island! I SO wanted to crash the wedding! Oheka Castle, the second largest private estate on the East Coast, is a place where people from all over the world come to have that fairy tale wedding. The night before, chef Paula Deen came and surprised the Jonas' and their guests at the rehearsal dinner. Apparently, their menu included some of her recipes as well as some roller skating. The wedding was luckily not harmed but actually benefited from the terrible blizzard we had! The theme was a winter wonderland so the snow just added to it. Kevin wore a custom-tailored Brooks Brothers tuxedo while Danielle looked gorgeous in her Vera Wang gown. The couple had their honeymoon in Mexico, where Kevin was spotted in some short shorts. Over 400 people were in attendance at the wedding including friends Demi Lovato, Jordin Sparks, the brothers' JONAS co-stars Nicole Anderson and Chelsea Staub, along with former NSYNC member Joey Fatone, who also got married at Oheka Castle some years ago. I wish the best for the happy couple! To see pictures of the wedding, pick up the latest issue of People magazine.

In more Jonas news, Nick Jonas did a little side project (hmm... so did Taylor Hanson with a little band called "Tinted Windows"...) and created his own band called Nick Jonas and the Administration. The band just started their tour on Jan. 2 in Dallas, TX and will be at The Beacon Theatre (hey, Hanson was there!) in NYC on Jan. 7th and 8th. Tickets are all sold out though you can purchase them on StubHub and other websites. Nick's video for his single "Who I Am" premiered on Jan. 1st on Disney Channel and can be found on YouTube. The band's CD comes out Feb. 2.

Going on to Hanson, they just released a new EP called "Stand Up, Stand Up". It features 5 songs, 4 acoustic and one actual recording and is available on iTunes. All five of the songs prove just how great Isaac, Taylor and Zac are. After almost 13 years of performing, they still know how to make great music. My favorite is "World's On Fire" from which the EP's title comes from. The song is political as the brothers sing about speaking up for yourself. My other two favorites are "Carry You There" and "Use Me Up". Hanson will be at the Gramercy Theatre in NYC for five nights starting April 26 and going thru April 30th. Each night, Hanson will be playing one of their albums starting with "Middle of Nowhere" on the first night and going in chronological order all the way to the last night being their new album whose title is yet to be released. On May 1st, the three brothers will playing at Bamboozle in New Jersey, the same day that Paramore is too! Tickets for the New York City shows aren't available though if you go to Bamboozle's website, you can purchase tickets for May 1st.

It seems that 2010 will be all about the music so stay tuned for what will happen this decade...
