Teen Vogue Event

Back on October, I had the chance to attend a very special Teen Vogue event at Bergdorf's. The magazine had teamed up with Marc Jacobs in their 5F Contemporary Department to promote Teen Vogue's new book handbook. While I was there, I had my future read by a handbag reader, talk to one of the execs from the brand Milly on how to get an internship, and look at some very hot male models hired to be servers for the day. But the best part of the event was when Teen Vogue editor-in-chief, Amy Astley arrived and I had the chance to personally meet her. I didn't know she was going to be there and it was an honor getting to talk to her about my fashion experience and how much I love the industry. She was very personal and took the time to speak with all of the readers. She has such an amazing presence (and a great Prada clutch. To add more excitement to the event, I entered a contest to win the new Teen Vogue Handbook and two weeks later, it arrived at my house! The book is an excellent source for fashion anything! Some designers wrote themselves how they got into the industry while there are interviews with designers, stylists, photographers, writers, and even make-up and hair stylists. The book also features a rundown on colleges and universities that offer studies in fashion. I highly suggest you buy this book! I will post photos soon, on a account they are my personal property and I do not want anyone stealing them.
